Course content
1st course: QTD4 (Summer semester, 2 hours, lecture/seminar) 2nd course: QNP4 (Summer semester, 2 hours, lecture/seminar) Both courses are thematically connected: one course is a historiography on a given topic, the second course sources, methods. One course follows the other in a timetable: Monday 15:00-18:15. Both courses are lead by many lecturers as well as doctoral students according to their specialization. There is a possibility of extra specialists and excursions. Learning outcomes
The course is focuses on the presentation of sources of selected topics of the history of the 20th century, their potential and limits. The course is thematically connected with the course "Contemporary Historiography Trends IV", therefore we recommend to sign in both courses. PZ
Capability to find, to analyze and to use historical sources in own work. PZ

Elementary orientation in sources of the history of the 20th century. PZ

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Dialog, Seminar Work

Requirements: Active class participation. A final credit test. A complex exam from both courses: A review on a selected course topic. A reading list. A discussion about this list, an analysis of sources and methods. HF
