1. Administrative reforms in the Habsburg monarchy after 1848 2. City government and its specifics, the role of elites. 3. State of the city in the Habsburg in the 19th century 4. Learning outcomes
|
Seminar discusses urban government and its development, it also focuses on the transformation of urban space and on the people's thinking. This course was established within the project of Inovation of Study of Historical Science at Palacký University, reg. no. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0025.
Student has an overview of the development of the city and its government in the second half of the 19th century and in the period before World War 1.

Basic knowledge of Czech history of the 19th century.

Oral exam
Participation in the course, performing assigned tasks, preparing for the seminar, preparation of the presentation, discussion.
