Course content

The explanation of main ideas and principles, on which the war technique of Napoleonic era was based. The attention will be paid to differences between old and new war techniques, changes of arm and equipment of European armies, military strategies and everyday life in the army. HF

Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to acquiant students with the development of European military history in the period of Napoleonic wars. HF
Students will be familiar with the military history in the late 18th century and in the early 19th century. HF

The basic knowledge of the history of this period. HF

Oral exam
Active class participation, to write a paper on the given topic. HF
