Course content
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the political, economic and social Ancient Greece &Rome. The emphasis is put on causes and results of important events and their interpretation. Lectures also concentrate on the analysis of the basic literature and historical sources.

Students gain an overview of the political, economic and social history of Antiquity.

|
To get credits of these courses: DSP, DSDH or DSARC, SPS.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Written exam
Credit requirements: class participation. Exam requirements: discussion about reading list and about 2 questions related to History of Antiquity (the first one is related to Ancient Greece &Rome and the second one to Near and Far East).
