Course content
The analysis of definitions, structures, functions and typologies of different myths is based on comparison between a diversified European and Czech historiographic production in the last twenty years.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
A theoretic definition of terms (e.g. a myth) and a content analysis in actual examples from the modern Czech history
Basic outlook on the problems.
Prerequisites
A thorough study of general literature mentioned in the list.

Oral exam

Knowledge of fundamental terms (e.g. gender) and a thorough study of general literature.
