Course content
1st Introduction to issue of basic problems of Archaeology of European barbarricum (Late La Téne Period, Roman Period and Older Migration Period). 2nd Forming of Teutonic cultural circles, cultures and groups from La Téne Period and its mutual connections. 3rd - 5th Regional specifics and meaning of each Central, Northern and Western European centres of power in barbariccum society. 6th Eastern Europaneum barbarricum in contact with Roman area of Black Sea. 7th Settlement structure in barbarricum. 8th Rich against standard graves of Teutonic and social structure of society. 9th Economical aspects Of Teutonic society. 10thReligion ideas of Teutonic and proofs of rite practices. 11th Roman army expansion to barbariccum and its historical-archaeological issue. 12th Meaning and role of Roman import, problems with its classification, tasking and interpretation, ways of trade. 13rd Teutonic heroes, fighters and lkings, Teutonic art.

  • Attendace - 52 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Main target of subject is extension of knowledges about historical development and archaeological sources of Roman Period in larger space of northern, western and eastern Europe as history of contacts between Teutons and Romans.
Good orientation in studied issue.
Prerequisites
For absolving of lecture are important knowledges from bachelor studies from subject Roman Period and Migrattion Period and Selected lectures from Archaeology 8.

Oral exam, Student performance

Oral Examination, study of residental and foreign literature in European context of Roman Period.
