Course content
Seminar and exercise content: 1) Types of available information sources in regional archaeology 2 - 3) Information storage - creation of databases and memory systems 4) Types of available information sources on regional history 5) Types of available information sources for the reconstruction of the natural environment 6) State Archaeological List of the Czech Republic 7) Archaeological information system - Archaeological map of the Czech Republic - Digital archive of the AMČR 8) Non-digitized archives of find reports 9) Museum collections 10) Specialized professional databases and GIS 11) Working with literature 12 - 13) Exercises/working with EIS and AI tools

Learning activities and teaching methods
Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Training in job and motor Skils, Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)

Learning outcomes
The seminar and exercises for the Regional Archaeology course will focus on preparing for practical activities related to a future study assignment, namely the Regional Archaeology Term Paper. The seminar and exercises will demonstrate and practice the procedures used in regional archaeological research.
Acquiring practical skills related to working on a specific topic in regional archaeology.
Prerequisites
Concurrent study of the course Regional Archaeology and knowledge gained from seminars in the course Introduction to Archaeology.

Assessment methods and criteria
Seminar Work

Submission of a seminar paper in the form of a professional research of information sources on a selected area, which will be processed as part of the subsequent Annual Thesis on Regional Archaeology.
