Course content
|
(A) Theoretical introduction to matter of collection facts on field. (B) Terrain exercise - 1x8 hours with transport to site, assessment of square 50 x 50 m with 25 squares 10 x 10 m (or 50 squares 5 x 5 m) and organizated collection of artifacts. (C) Laboratory exercise 1. Material cleaning. 2. Common workshop (determination of material according to material and era) 3. Classification to system of museum evidence. 4. Photographical documentation. 5. Creation of finding protocol.

Learning outcomes
|
Students are familiar with form of gaining archaeological sources by non-destructive method - collection of archaeological material on field, which is cultived by farmers. Next in process is cleaning, evidence and documentation of materiál. The main target is familiar with whole process of creation finding protocol from archaeological action.
Good orientation in matter, preparation to inidividual a collective work in discipline - ability to creation finding protocol.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Final Report
(1) A participation at introduction lesson (A-2 hours), common collectio in terrain (B-8 hours), evaluation of materiál (C2 - 8 hours) and defined part from C1 3-5 (7 hours) - its a common work of whole studyied year. total 25 hours = 1 credit; (2) separately collection: 25 hours = 1 credit.
