Course content
|
Individual practical exercises of laboratory processing of archaeological finds. Cleaning, conservation and restoration, inventoring and museum evidence. Conservation and restoration of pottery, metal, organic and glass artefacts. Drawing and photographic documentation and their digital processing in graphic softwares (e.g. Gimp and Inkscape).

Learning outcomes
|
Acquiring of the practical experiences of work with the archeological material.
Knowledge of techniques in laboratory processing, conservation, restoration and evidence of archaeological artefacts. Gaining skills in - basic cleaning, classification, conservation, restoration, inventoring and evidence of archaeological finds, drawing and photographic documentation and their digital processing.

The basic overview in the archeological cultures in Central Europe.

Analysis of Activities ( Technical works), Systematic Observation of Student
Parallel tuitions with lector, fulfilment of schduled tasks and individual active work in practical exercises.
