Course content
The course deals with various aspects of Early Modern culture especially with emphasis on the interconnection of word and image. The attention will be paid to some selected topics (e.g. book printing, emblematic, iconoclasm, festivals) and ways of interpretations of images and also written sources.

Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
Seminars concentrate on the analysis of the main historical problems, literature and sources.
Students will gain knowledge of selected topics of this period and they will be also familiar with the literature related to this course.

Participation in the classes and class discussions, preparation at home, paper.
