Learning outcomes
Lectures look at the features of this field of study and give the basic overview of European development from prehistoric to early medieval period of history, derived from analyses of the sources of material culture. Seminars concentrate on selected archeological topics issues and students are individualy preparing for lessons. AD
A detailed knowledge of archaelogical methods, an overview of the development of the settlement from the prehistoric to early medieval period of history. AD
Prerequisites
The basic overview in history of European prehistory and protohistory. AD

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Seminar Work

Participation in the lessons and selfstudy of recommended literature. In addition, as a part of the seminar preparation and presentation of a selected topic, and active work in the classes (participation in discussion, preparation of the discussion paper). AD
