Course content
|
Lessons of conservation and restoration of archaeological glass artefacts. Practical exercises with archaeological glass finds. Mechanical cleaning of glass artefacts, conservation and restoration. Practical exercises of photographic documentation. Digital processing of photographic documentation in graphic softwares (e.g. Gimp and Inkscape). Individual practical exercises of laboratory processing of archaeological finds.

Learning outcomes
|
Acquiring of the practical experiences of work with the archeological glass material.
Knowledge of techniques in conservation and restoration of archaeological glass artefacts. Gaining skills in - conservation and restoration of archaeological glasses and photographic documentation of archaeological artefacts, further basic cleaning, classification and inventoring of archaeological finds.

|
The basic overview in the archeological cultures in Central Europe.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Analysis of Activities ( Technical works), Systematic Observation of Student
Activity in seminar lessons, parallel tuitions with lector, fulfilment of schduled tasks and individual work in practical exercises.
