Course content
The course aims at medieval history of Central Europe from the time of the formation of states and first written records to the early 16th century. We concentrate on history of Central Europe as a whole; history of individual countries, especially Hungary and Poland, will serve us as good example of the historical development of Central Europe. The attention will be paid to the most important phenomenons of the Central European history. The classes are based on short papers and work with sources or literature, which students have to read before.

Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
Seminars concentrate on the analysis of the main historical problems, literature and sources.
Students will gain knowledge of selected topics of this period and they will be also familiar with the literature related to this course.

There are no prerequisites for this course.

Participation in the classes and class discussions, preparation at home, paper.
