Course content

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the political, economic and social history of ancient Near East. The emphasis is put on to causes and results of important events and their interpretation. Lectures also concentrate on the analysis of the basic literature and historical sources. PZ

Students cannot complete the examination without credits from one of following courses: DSP, DSDH or DSARC, SPS. PZ

Written exam
Exam requirements: discussion about student's reading list and about 2 alloted questions related to history of ancient Near East. PZ
