Expressionismus Nach einiger Zeit kehre ich zu meinem ehemaligen Lieblingsthema zurück und biete eine Vorlesung voll von wilden expressionistischen Gedichten und Theaterstücken an. Es wird sowohl um theoretische und literaturhistorische Darstellung der ganzen Epoche gehen, als auch um Behandlung einzelner wichtiger Themen und Motive (Apokalypse, Ästhetik des Häßlichen, Erotik, Utopien, Großstadt, Erkenntniskrise, Vater-Sohn-Konflikt, das Menschenbild des Expressionismus usw.) anhand ausgewählter Textbeispiele.

Students will gain insight into literature and literary criticism in selected period as well as knowledge on topics dealt with in German language literature. A special emphasis is laid on the knowledge of the historical and cultural-historical context. |
