The lecture aims to introduce to the history, methods, and key themes of text linguistics, with particular emphasis on German text linguistics.
The resulting competence consists of an overview of the terminology and history of text linguistics and its methods, as well as the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to one's own empirical (including contrastive) analysis of language. |

The lecture is intended for all students of the Palacký University who have sufficient knowledge of German (at least B2 level).
