Course content
This seminar deepens the topics from the winter semester. Knowledge from the previous course is assumed. In addition to reading about the theoretical principles and background, the main focus is on practical exercises in the pronunciation of Standard German. Examples of topics Typical pronunciation difficulties for Czech learners of German Articulation of rounded front vowels, which do not exist in Czech The different E-sounds in German Word and sentence accent The vocalic R Didactics of phonology Analysing sample (audio) texts Music

Learning outcomes
This seminar deepens the topics from the winter semester. Knowledge from the previous course is assumed. In addition to reading about the theoretical principles and background, the main focus is on practical pronunciation practice in Standard German.
The seminar aims to improve the ability to analyse spoken language from the perspective of phonetics and phonology. The students' pronunciation skills are also actively trained.

This seminar deepens the topics from the winter semester. Knowledge from the previous course is assumed.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary), Didactic Test

Regular attendance is expected as well as the completion of homework. Teaching sequences and exercises are also prepared by the students and held in the seminar.
