Course content |
On the basis of general linguistics the lecture systematically presents the substance of contemporary German as a natural language. Introduction of linguistic terminology, methods and the most important theories of contemporary linguistics. Analysis of various aspects of language (theory of signs, theory of communication, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, etc.).

A two-term lecture presents an overview of basic disciplines of German linguistics, such as semiotics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, textual analysis, pragmalinguistics, sociolinguistics and historiolinguistics.
Knowledge of linguistic terminology, methods and the most important theories of contemporary linguistics. |
