Course content
Insights into the history and development of European criticism of metaphysics and ontology. The lectures will be reflected mainly from the older philosophy texts of Thomas Aquinas, Nicholas of Cusa, and Jana Amos Comenius, the modern and postmodern texts then Heinrich Rombach, Gustav Siewerth, Jürgen Habermas and Peter Sloterdijk. From these authors will be exploited mainly the following texts: Thomas Aquinas: Summa theologica, Summa contra gentiles, Quaestiones disputatae de potentia Mikuláš Kusánský: De docta ignorantia, De coniecturis, Trialogus de possest, De venatione sapientiae, De apice theoriae J. A. Comenius: De rerum humanarum emendatione consultatio catholica, Janua rerum H.
