1. Defining the research topic. 2. Identifying a suitable journal/book. 3. Defining theoretical framework and methodology. 4. Planning the structure of the article/book chapter. 5. Preparation of article/chapter sections. 6. Copy-editing to comply with the house style of the journal/book. 7. Submitting the article/chapter. 8. Style and content re-writes according to the reviewers's and publisher's suggestions, proofreading, publication.

Writing the article and identifying a suitable publication venue, following a consultation with the supervisor; submission of the article/book chapter for a peer review; communication with the publisher.
