The aim of the course is to provide students with a historical overview of the development of the concept and application of the "cultural and creative industries" (CCI) from the perspective of both theory and cultural and economic policy practice. In addition to this introduction, students will be introduced to case studies of groundbreaking examples of discourse transformation, examples of individual applications as well as local specificities. An essential part of the course will be the familiarization with the literature, the individual theoretical frameworks, but above all with popularization summaries and information nodes. Special attention will be paid to the domestic context that is most applicable to practice. The developmental twists and turns of the local cultural policy, the position of governmental and non-governmental organizations, their purpose and strategies, as well as the role of individual personalities creating the dynamics of events will be addressed.
