The theory of adaptation The theory of intertextuality and film Revision of traditional film historiography Postmodernism - Default conditions Postmodernism and art Cognitive psychology and film Cognitive theory of genres

Learning outcomes
A lecture familiarizing the students with the newest trends in film and media theory. Concentration on the areas of new historiography, psychoanalysis of neoformalism, semiopragmatics of cognitive psychology, and postmodernism.
To significantly enhance the knowledge gained from the subject ?Basics of film theory?.
Prerequisites
Basics of film theory, active knowledge of basic art theory terminology.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam

Independent application of learned terminology.
