Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the seminar is to apply knowledge from lectures focused on television and media studies. Specific thematic profile of the seminar is variable, topic is specified at the beginning of the semester. Usually the seminar is focused on specific programes and works, genres, authors, historical periods, stylistic features, etc.
Students will prove their ability to analyse particular problems from the field of television and media studies.

Prerequisites
|
Successful completion of KDU/UST1,UST2 (Introduction to film studies 1+2) is highly recommended. Required is knowledge of terms and basic concepts of television studies.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance, Analysis of linguistic, Seminar Work, Written exam
Submission and presentation of the paper (4-10 standard pages), minimum of 70% attendance, active participation in lessons, mandatory readings.
