Course content
|
The course contents historical overview of radio literary broadcasting origins. The course informs about radio drama theory, the formation of Czech radio critique and outlines genre typology of radio literary works and specific features of radio performance. Many examples and authors will be presented. Learning outcomes
|
The course focuses on chosen subjects from the area of Czech radio drama ? from its origins until nowadays. The aim of the course is to present characteristic periods of radio evolution considering radio as a medium of art.
Knowledge of historical and present context of radio drama.

Prerequisites
|
The knowledge of basic terms from the area of the subject Introduction to radio study.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Mark, Oral exam, Student performance, Seminar Work
Radio performances listening, ten titles of radio performance to analyse. Colloquium: knowledge of the content of the lectures, of basic literature, radio performance analysing.
