Learning outcomes
The ambition of the course is to offer a sophisticated critical feedback to Slovakian chamber theatre in Martin. Students will study the dramaturgy of the season 2021/2021, visit and analyze its four new productions, develop the form of oral feedback on the spot and write a review or an essay focused on the dramaturgy of the season, one of its productions, or on other aspects of Slovakian Chamber Theatre. Students will explore possibilities of feedback to artists with all its specificities and obstacles, learn how to write a review or critical essay, get familiar with contemporary Slovakian theatre and in general with theatre management and dramaturgy.
Students will practice their critical thinking, acting and writing and get insight into contemporary Slovakian theatre.
Prerequisites
The vaccination against covid-19 is obligatory for theatre visit.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

Two obligatory overnight trips will be organized during the course. Students need to perform feedback on the spot and submit a critical essay or review 5 pages long, which also has to be consulted with the teacher in advance, to get the credit.
