Warren Buckland: Who Wrote Citizen Kane? A Computer Analysis of Disputed Co-Authorship 18-24 November 2024 In the week of 18-24 November 2024 we will welcome Warren Buckland from Oxford Brookes University. As well as being one of the leading scholars in the fields of film narratology and semiotics, in recent years he has been involved in the digital humanities in relation to research of cinema. Warren will be giving two lectures in our department, in which he will discuss the screenwriting of Citizen Kane using stylometric analysis. In addition tot his lectures, the film Citizen Kane (1941) will be screened.
