Course content

This code is intended for an excursion around Olomouc's theater spaces (approx. second half of April 2024, guaranteed by Lukáš Kubina), or for an excursion to the Theater World Brno festival (May 17 - May 28, 2024, guaranteed by Martin Bernátek, the exact time will be specified with regard to the festival program). In case of questions, contact individual teachers.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with current events in theater culture and theatrology by means of domestic and foreign excursions. Excursions are mainly focused on visiting performances, but also exhibitions, special lectures and conferences.
The student will become familiar with current theater and performance culture.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Essay, Student performance
Adherence to the UP Study and Examination Regulations, the ability to empathize and cooperate in a group, especially when traveling together; the ability to overcome obstacles and endure a more demanding journey, especially at night. The student ends the course with a written reflection of the excursion in the scope of 2 standard pages sent to the guarantor of the excursion.
