Developement of methodoligocal concepts and procedures in a certain field including contemporary ones, within Czech and international context.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is the analysis and discussion of a scholarly text in the field of cultural theory, art theory, or aesthetics that relates to the topic of the student's dissertation project. The text will be selected in consultation with the student's supervisor. It should focus on the definition and explication of key theoretical concepts used in the dissertation, or address a broader issue in the theory of art, aesthetics, or culture that is relevant to the conceptual framework of the dissertation. The goal of the course is to help the student develop a broader theoretical and philosophical perspective in relation to the methodology and research questions of their dissertation.
Student has detailed knowledge of methodological questions within the expertise profiling.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam
Qualified interview on selected academic text or written interpretation of the text and its critical evaluation.
