Developement of methodoligocal concepts and procedures in a certain field including contemporary ones, within Czech and international context.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to analyze and discuss an academic text from the field of art theory or aesthetics, which is related to the topic of the dissertation project. The text will be chosen in cooperation of the teacher and the student. The focus of the text should relate to the definition and explication of the key theoretical concepts used in the dissertation and should be related to the solution of a more general problem themed in the theory of art or aesthetics, which is relevant to the concept of the dissertation. The aim of the course is to provide students with a broader theoretical insight into the field of art theory, preferably in relation to the topic of their dissertation.
Student has detailed knowledge of methodological questions within the expertise profiling.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam
Qualified interview on selected academic text or written interpretation of the text and its critical evaluation.
