Learning outcomes
|
The main aim of the course is to give and introduce students the basic terms of the literary theory, their definitions and power and to explain them how tu use them for the functional analysis of the work of art.
The student will acquire a basic overview of key concepts and theoretical approaches in literary studies. They will learn to analyse literary works using the critical apparatus of modern literary theory.

|
Written exam
Active participation in seminars, preparation of interpretations and analyses of literary studies, independent reading and study of assigned scholarly texts, and their presentation.
