Obsah předmětu
|
Phonetics: Among main topics belong basic terminology, differences between written and spoken Czech & phonetic transcription, characterization and classification of vowels & consonants, interpretation of speech sound changes during the speech production, main suprasegmental features. Phonology: The aim is to present the basics of the phonology of Czech, especially basic terms, and concepts of a phoneme, as well as the basics of morphophonemic alternations.

The course is focused on the spoken form of the Czech language according to the phonetic-phonological level. In the beginning, speech segments and suprasegments and relation between written and spoken language are presented. Also, the main phonological terms and relations between czech phonemes are defined
Students have the theoretical knowledge about Czech phonetics and phonology. Also, they will be able to use the knowledge in practice.
