Learning outcomes
|
This is the first semester of a four-semester course for students who are starting with Italian language. The course concentrates on practicing all the communication forms: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Student can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment). Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. Can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.

Prerequisites

Student is motivated to study Italian language.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Written exam
Attendance - maximum 2 absences. Absence is no excuse for not being prepared in the following lesson. Active participation. Completion of all the assignments. Final written test. To obtain the credit, the students must fulfill all the requirements not later than by the end of the examination period of the semester they registered for this course.
