Course content
- targeted activation of recent speech skills in interaction to Topics - gaining confidence and agility in foreign language communication - activities to develop oral communication skills - discussion, giving opinions, techniques of asking questions, - language exercises and communicative games to activate speech skills - training of strategies for vocabulary increasing based on written and spoken text. - training of strategies for communication based on written and spoken text - asking questiones, resumé Themes and topics for discussions will be communicated after the beginning of the course. Topics generally dealing with: Student Life, Work and Future Plans, Interests and Activities, German-speaking Countries, Current Social Issues, Culture and History, etc. Support: https://moodle.ff.upol.cz/

Learning outcomes
The communication course is designed to develop oral communication skills and competencies in German as a foreign language on pre-Intermediate Level (A2-B1) of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) CEFR scale online: http://europassd.cedefop.europa.eu/LanguageSelfAssessmentGrid/en Recommended for students who plan to study abroad (in a German speaking country). NOTE: There is no examination at the end of this one-semester course
