Course content
The course is methodically focused on gaining confidence and agility in foreign language communication, especially through targeted activation of recent speech skills. All activities in the conversation course help to develop oral communication skills: discussion and techniques of asking questions, argumentations Training of strategies for vocabulary increasing based on written and spoken text Training of strategies for communication based on written and spoken text Themes for discussions will be communicated after the beginning of the course

Learning outcomes
This communication course is designed to develop oral communication skills and competencies in English as a foreign language on advanced level- C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) Recommended for students who plan to study abroad (in a English speaking country). NOTE: This is a two-semester course. There is no examination at the end of this course

Prerequisites
Recommended knowledge of English for this course as defined by the Common European Framework (CEFR) -level B2 (or higher) CEFR scale online: http://europassd.cedefop.europa.eu/LanguageSelfAssessmentGrid/en -Not for beginners -without relation to any field of study -facultative course only!

Input level B2 of CEFR - hardworking motivated student - interested in the topics for discussions - contributing to the course discussions - doing homework - cooperating with other students - regular attendance - max. two absences allowed
