Learning outcomes |
This is the first semester of a four-semester course for students with a pre-intermediate level of English. The course concentrates on practising all the communication forms: speaking, listening, reading and writing so that the students are not only able to communicate on the general English level but also to express themselves on topics related to their main study subjects. By attending the course and passing the exam, students will reach B1 level as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Length of the course: 4 semesters When students fulfill all the requirements, they receive 2 credits at the end of each of the four semesters (the total of 8 credits). When students succeed in fulfilling the requirements for all the four semesters, they can sit for the exam (AMZ). When they pass the exam sucessfully, they receive 2 credits. Total number of credits for the course: 10
Competences: reading, writing, listening and speaking (units 1-6) + complementary materials. By attending the four-term course and passing the exam, students will reach B1 level as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. |
