Passive participation at a scholarly PhD conference in English language. It is presumed they will participate in the discussion in the target language. A more specific timetable will be sent to the students to their university e-mail addresses before the conference takes place. The conference takes place on 15 January 2019

The main aim of the subject is to provide the PhD students from the Philosophical Faculty at Palacký University with an opportunity to participate passively at a scholarly conference of the PhD students of FF UP in English language.
Ability to understand and analyse English scholarly contributions presented at the conference. Ability to discuss presented issues in English language. |

Required are the skills in English language at level A2/B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, so that the students are able to understand presented topics and participate in a discussion in the target language.
