| Course content |

The course is organized within one block; via e-learning, and through self-study of recommended resources. Students work out one of the suggested projects as a part own independent study. Conclusions of the project are presented in the form of a final report. The topics of theoretical part: 1. Introduction to managerial psychology and managerial personality I. a. Definition of change, change planning, sequence of steps. 12. Specific issues of managerial psychology a. Managing of difficult followers, happiness management / feelgood management b. Coaching principles, coaching of teams. c. Self-management in managerial practice (time management, self management, work-life balance, procrastination). Project topics for work in groups: 1. Analysis of managerial personality with following recommendations for membership setting in a workgroup, and personal development of manager. 2. Analysis of stressors and burnout process in a workgroup with the following recommendation for individual employees. 3. Analysis of motivational resources with the following recommendation for the motivation of individuals. 4. Sociometric analysis of the team, including interpretation and recommendation for effective work in a group.

The course aims at acquainting students with the basics of the psychology of leadership as a discipline dealing with encounters of managing and managed employees in the context of their personalities, managerial process, and activities in the working environment. Apart from the acquisition of basic knowledge, the course makes students capable of analyzing different management styles. It provides a fundamental insight into the psychological issue of managing small and big teams.
