Moravian Jewish History This course will examine the history of the Jews of Moravia (and Austrian Silesia), with a particular focus on the 18th and 19th centuries. It will explore cultural, religious, economic, demographic and legal developments, combining a close reading of primary sources with the perusal of the latest scholarship on the topic.
