Course content
The 15th year of the Days of Jewish Culture Olomouc festival wants to reveal the stereotypically presented image of Czech society's attitude towards the Jewish minority, which is often presented as a romanticized solid transcultural connection or, on the contrary, as a strictly isolated parallel existence, accompanied by tension and conflicts. The festival will focus on the questions of what image of Jews we have stored in our historical and cultural memory and why. This leads to a key question - when are the Jews "ours" and when are they "foreign" for Czech society?
