Course content
1.-3. Jean Baptiste Mathey (1629-1696) 4.-5. Juan Bautista Villalpando, In Ezechielem explanationes. Roma 1596-1604 6.-8. Santini´s general renovation project of cistercian cloister in Plasy (do 1710) 9.-10. Correspondent architecture between1630-1710 11. Martinelli´s project of the jesuit Holy Virgin church in Olomouc (1700-1701) 12.-13. Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach, Entwurff Einer Historischen Architectur. Wien 1721.

Learning outcomes
The lectures are presenting live and work of Jan Blažej Santini-Aichel (1677-1723). The accent was put on special architectonical exercises in comparism with Santini´s teacher Mathey and other famous baroque (Bernini, Borromini, Martinelli, Hildebrandt, Fischer von Erlach, Alliprandi) and also renaissance architects (Michelangelo, Sansovino, Serlio ad.).
Knowledge of Santini´s live and work in the context.
Prerequisites
The finished second semester of the master degree of the History of Art.

Written exam
