Learning outcomes
|
The overview lectures are devoted to the art of the 17th and 18th centuries in Europe, also considering the situation in the Czech lands. The lectures will introduce the main art centres, important artistic personalities and their key works, all with an emphasis on the historical, social and cultural context.
Students of this course will gain an orientation in the artistic production of the 17th and 18th centuries in Europe and the Czech lands.
