Learning outcomes
The lectures are mostly devoted to live and work of Gian Lorenzo Bernini (1598-1680). He is seen universally in the sense of microhistory. His every single realisation is confronted with the requirement of customer, iconography is also widely reflected. Then the monographical lectures follow (Stefano Maderno, Francesco Mochi, Francois Duquesnoy, Alessandro Algardi, Cosimo Fancelli, Ercole Ferrata, Antonio Raggi, Melchiore Caffa, Domenico Guidi, Pierre Legros ml., Camillo Rusconi).
Detail knowledge of Italian (and European) sculpture of the 17th and 18th century.
Prerequisites
Basic orientation in the topic.

Oral exam
