Topics of lectures: 1. Biograophy as genre of art history 2. Form ans Style in art history 3. Iconograophy and iconology 4. Cultural-history 5. Aspects of social art history 6. Psychology 7. Critical art history. 8. Semiotics - art as sign 9. Hans Belting and ed of art history 10. Bildwissenschaft a visual studie. 11. Neurovědy a kognitivní vědy. 12. Kulturní vědy a dějiny umění.

Learning outcomes
Aims of the course: The lectures will present basic methods of art history and methodological tools of art history. The aim of the course is just elementary introduction to the problem.
Students will get knowledge of basic methods of art history.
Prerequisites
Perfect knowledge of art history historiography.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam

Knowledge of related texts, attendance at discussion (80% attendance).
