Learning outcomes
The context of the landscape parks origins. The most significant early English, German and local landscape parks; The concept and the artists of the parks.
In depth knowledge on the landscape parks and their origins within the context of the period.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of Bohemian and European history of the 18th and 19th century.

Assessment methods and criteria
Essay

80% attendance; pro-active participation in the discussions; oral and written presentation on a selected topic. Study of the specific problematics demonstrated during the seminar discussions. Appropriately structured presentation of a selected topic and subsequent submission of the written version accepted by the lecturer.
