Aims of the course: Series of lectures provide a basic outline of historiography of art since Antiquitey till the 19th century whens art history was founded as scientific discipline. The lectures will be combined with analysis of texts that will provide better knowledge of tzhe discussed period and problems.
Students get knowledge of art history historiography since antiquity till 19th century.

Basic knowledge of European history is required.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Written exam
Good knowledge of art history historiography and related text proved by written test to get credit. Attendance at least 80 %.
