Jan Svoboda 11. Conceptual photography of 70s and 80s. 12. Slovenská nová vlna. 13. Czech photography in exil.

Learning outcomes
|
The course is focused on the knowledge of single movements and creative methods in the history of the Czech photography of the 20th century (1945-1990) contexting the world and the development of the medium in the previous century.
The orientation in the particular streams of the Czech art photography of the 20th century. The students should also comprehend the role of photography in the society and in politics.

Prerequisites

Completion of the course DCFB1 or slightly advanced orientation in the visual arts and the Czech photography of the 20th century.
