Learning outcomes

The course is designed as a series of selected chapters covering a wide range of topics related to European sculpture of the 15th-18th century. The individual lectures will address issues of style and technique and introduce sculptural roles and major protagonists.
Orientation in European sculpture of the 15th-18th century; knowledge of key works, artists and types of artistic commissions.

Interest in the specific topics; basic orientation in general European history

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Written exam
A written test to check the knowledge of topics discussed and of specialised literature. Attending at least 80% of classes.
