Learning outcomes
The course follows a lecture devoted to Czech modern and contemporary art. It focuses on the first half of the 20th century. It develops selected themes and topics, puts them into a broader context. An essential part is the critical approach towards literature and orientation in fundamental texts.

Prerequisites
professional interest, basic orientation in Czech modern art of the 20th and 21st century, continual preparation (reading, writing abstracts)

Assessment methods and criteria
Dialog, Seminar Work

The student is obliged to actively participate in the seminar (80% participation is required), to prepare the assigned tasks (written and practical) on the given date and to present a report (last lesson).
