Topic ranges for excursions in the Czech Republic: 1. West Bohemian spa towns 2. Plzeň and its surroundings; from the Middle Ages to Classicism 3. South Bohemia; the Rosenbergs 4. Prague and Central Bohemia; castles and towns 5. Liberec and North Bohemia; 19th century architecture 6. East part of Central Bohemia: Kutná Hora 7. Northeast Bohemia: from Renaissance to Modernism 8. Bohemian-Moravian Highlands and south-western Moravia 9. Brno and its surroundings 10. South Moravia; Znojmo 11. Central Moravia and Beskydy region 12. Ostrava and Těšín region 13. Western Silesia, Kladsko, Broumov

Learning outcomes
The specialised art excursion is aimed at introducing the monuments and art collections of a selected locality or region in the Czech Republic or abroad. The students will learn in situ in detail about the selected buildings and works of art, their creators, cultural and historical context, changes and current state.
Extension of knowledge acquired in the study of art history. Learning about works of art from autopsy, deepening the skills of reception and interpretation of works of art.
Prerequisites
Interest in the specific topics; basic orientation in general European history
