The course is designed as selected chapters from the art and architecture of the 17th and 18th centuries in the Czech lands. The individual lectures will introduce periodisation, stylistic background, key figures of contemporary artistic production, typology and important clients.
Orientation in the issues of artistic and architectural creation of the specific period in the Czech lands; knowledge of key artists and types of art commissions; developing skills of reception and interpretation of works of art. |

Dialog
Oral colloquium in English to check the knowledge of topics discussed. Attending at least 80% of classes. |
