Learning outcomes
|
Lectures are concentrated on charkteristics of the sgraffito as a wall decorative technique, outlining plaster technologies, social background and wider urbanistic and artificial programmes which are using sgraffito inside theirconcepts. The accent is put on the 15th,16th and 17th century. Opening lesson includes also antique determinations of the technique in the light of archeological findings and architectural treatises. Final lectures are devoted to the 19th, 20th and 21th century view on the sgraffito technique.
Through the sgrafitto as a phenomen students shoud be able to think in diverse angels of view, methodicaly recognise individual contexts and different paradigmas.
